I look forward to the weekend. I dread the week.
But I have to say, more so than ever before in my life, time is flying by. I cannot believe it's mid April. MID APRIL?!
How is this? How is my little newborn 6 1/2 months? When the hell did half of a year go by?

Also heard how welcoming you all were to a couple of my board friends after they attended the recent viewing party at PW's CEO's home - that's what I remember about my time in SLC - gracious and loving people!

I live in CT (tho lived in SLC 1969-73 and traveled Utah), am 71, mother of 2 daughters and 4 grandkids, so you see I love kids! I also appreciate great writing, and your musings bring back so many memories for me as a mom.
I so love your balance as a mom - especially your description about how you love to just hold your kids and take clues from them when they need something!
Your writings are sweetness, and they remind me of another special mom (I occasionally sit for her 3 kids (actually just had her 4th boy), who muses like you do. I think you might enjoy some of her thoughts as well -
