Word Vomit

Monday, February 1, 2010

Some days I rammble. A lot. I guess today is one of those days. Bronson is like this too and I think its one of the reasons I still have a crush on him. No matter how tired and exhausted my body is, my mind will never shut off when Im ready to go to bed. I really really LOVE faux eyelashes....so shoot me. I dont care if theyre tacky. Im paranoid of everything to do with my daughter. I feel like I deal with things like a boy rather than a girl sometimes. Im a typical Libra through and through: this means I would rather be beat with a club than be in any sort of confrontation, completely fall apart if my life is un-balanced, Im really loyal to people I consider important, I love to hear anyones opinion on any topic...but I'll most likely never take your advice and do things the hard way to learn for myself, I love falling in love, I over analyze too much, I keep my distance when it comes to letting people in....Im really picky, but once youre in-youre in for life. Oh! and im really really good at making up song. Im also pretty good with balancing on stuff. When I was little I was one of the girls that always just wanted to be mom for career day. Insurance commercials make me cry...so do old people walking together. I will never, NEVER be a morning person. Everyday I make a list of things to get done that day, and rarely do all the things get done. I think this is due to my extremely spontaneous nature...this isnt good by the way-its probably one of my greatest faults. Im pretty good at pegging people right off the bat- I know your intentions the first time I meet you. hahah oh and IM insanely good at guessing numbers...like for instance...how much money it was to fill up the gas tank, Ill always only be a few cents off, or the numbher of knobs there are in the entire kitchen... I say the first number that comes into mind and its usually right....I honestly scare myself sometimes with that one. I really really really really love lists. Im pyscho about money and saving. My husbands hates this about me but I think he should love it, right? I thought that that quality was in most guys dream girl? Not brons ha ha. When I was 15 I discovered the Postal Service and the Sounds. For some reason or another this was somewhat monumental in my life. Both of their first albumbs are my favorite of all time and always will be. In 6th grade I was valedictorian. I moved in 1st, 3rd, 4th, 5th, and 6th grade. Moved in 9th, then transferred high schools, then moved in 12th grade too. So 8 schools all together between Utah to Colorado, to utah then back to Colorado, then finally back to utah. jeez...that was annoying typing let alone living it. Im a sucker for acts of kindness or love. I love when people remember little details about non important things. Im a curious person and always have to live and experience things on my own....I feel like I can never get enough information and realized I loved learning...only I found this out after I graduated school-dang it. So, all in all, maybe you learned a little about me, or maybe I just did this for myself. Word vomit just feels good.

take a peep...

Wanna Tan? Get one from ME!

Tuesday, January 19, 2010

Top of the line, cutting edge technology spray gun and pop-up tent make it possible to give you a tan anywhere! From in your closet to your living room...you choose!
Alright ladies, heres the thing about Norvell's sunless tanning system....IT'S AMAZING! Its the Bentley of spray tanning, and if you go into any blog on the web its the number 1 recommended sunless tanning solution and equipment out there. Nothing, and I mean nothing, beats it. Not only does it apply the most even, natural looking, and raspberry almond scented tan, but its also good for your skin. Yes, I said it! Its good for you! It delivers vitamins and antioxidants into your skin while giving you a golden glow. Too good to be true, right? Well read it for yourself. I copied this directly from the Norvell website.

"A custom designed sunless tanning solution that produces an express, quick-drying, natural, long-lasting, “just off the beach” tan! Radiant supple bronzed skin is only one spray away!

This breakthrough micro-nutrient technology delivers a potent blend of vitamins and antioxidants to boost the skin’s inherent “just off the beach” glow. The natural formula works with the skin creating a customized shade of color every time. Scented formulas are fragranced with essence of raspberry and almond extracts.

Results: The DHA bronzer (active ingredient, derived from glycerin, that interacts with the amino acids in the skin cells producing a color change) will begin to activate within 2-4 hours after application, replacing any cosmetic bronzers as they wash off. Norvell Clear formulas do NOT contain cosmetic bronzers. Full DHA results develop within 18-24 hours. "

Two years down, Eternity to go...

Monday, January 11, 2010

So, tomorrow at approximately 5:30pm Bronson and I will have been married two years. I have to take this small opportunity to let everyone I know how much I really, truly appreciate my husband. Bronson and I have always been a different sort couple...not fitting into any set molds of how or what a relationship should be or look like, but the one thing I've learned from him after all these years is how this little factor is what makes us so great together. We do what we think is right for us and have an immense love for one another and our child too. We are carving our own path in this massive jungle we call life and I am so happy I have him as my co-pilot. Hmmm, maybe he wants to be the pilot, yup, I'll call him the pilot (even though we all know I am, right? Shhh he doesn't have to know!).

OK, so you know I have to brag a little bit! Here I go...He is so generous. One time, just recently, he was talking to a co-worker and the co-worker mentioned he liked Zuri's boots she was wearing and wanted some like them for his baby on the way. Without hesitation Bronson slipped off her boots and handed them over to him with a smile. He is always, almost annoyingly, looking on the bright side of things. We could have 2 cents in our bank account, or lock our keys inside our condo in the dead of winter with a small infant in our arms, and I'll be in the corner having a small heart attack and he's there comforting me in any situation, promising everything we be turn out fine. I don't know how he does it, but not matter what he always makes sure his family is well taken care of even in the stickiest of situations. Last but not least, I have to give him props for being the most amazing father I could ask for. The way he loves our daughter literally makes me fall more in love with him which makes him fall more in love with me, and our love just spills out onto our perfect little baby girl. I guess this is what life is all about, right?

Bronson, thank you for all your hard work and growing up you've done in these last two years. I can't tell you how much I appreciate everything you do for our family but I hope I can show you and make you feel how much you mean to me and Zuri. You are the perfect husband for me and I love you much. I can't wait to see you in 50 years with no hair, wrinkles, and a huge gut. Love you, Love me.

my little love chug

Believe it or not, but my darling little angel is now 18 months old. Yes, thats right.... just two days a go Zuri turned 1 and 1/2. As a mom I dont know whether to be excited or scared to death, but mostly I'm just really proud. She has turned out to be a lot of things that I wish I was more like in her short amount of time already. She so determined, smart, funny, not to mention beautiful (which she knows and uses to her advantage), understanding, sweet, and I could go on and on for days so I better just stop.

She can now say mama, dada, bampa (grandpa), mamaw (grandma), yes, no (her favorite so far, and her answer for whatever question you ask her good or bad), thewz (shoes) nigh night, baba, nana (banana), car, doggy, pee pee, poo poo (ok so one of mine and Bronson proudest moments is when she had a little accident in our house and instead of hiding it or not telling us she walked over to bronson, held out her hand for him to grab and said "poo poo dad". Sure enough Bronson fallows her to the spot she's taking him to and there it was. We couldnt even get grossed out or discipline her...we were so astonished with her! We like to think shes a young genius), Ror Ror (uncle Rory), Nanner (uncle Tanner), eat, more, yummy, and bubbles. Along with this she also has quite good taste in music. Some of her favorites to dance to are The Black eyed Peas, Shakira, any Kanye, Junior Boys, Metric. You get the drift....one going on fifteen, were in trouble aren't we? So, this is my ode to my amazing little mama, Zuri Estella. Enjoy a recap of the last year and a half of hers and our life together!

things to do when when you wake up on the wrong side of the bed

Monday, January 4, 2010

Ok some days I wake up with pure rage running through my veins for no apparent reason at all. No ones perfect, right? I happen to think I inherited this rare trait from my lovely Nanny Cherie, my dads mom. Not that shes mean or always mad, shes actually quite the opposite....always making little crochet things, cooking good food, sewing baby blankets, you get the the drift.... doing nice grandma stuff all the time. Then the Dr. Jekyll/Mr. Hyde transformation happens and shes as mad as a raging volcano, but before you know it, its over with and she back to being a nice little old lady. Man oh man I looove her. Well anyways, my dad has this which means I now have it, which means my beautiful baby girl has it too (Bronson's a brave soul for taking this family on....you're stuck with us for life, Boo). Well, whenever I'm feeling a like Im going to rip someones head off I go through a little list in my head of ways to laugh it off and get over it. This is FOOLPROOF and I suggest you try any one of these things the next time you wake up on the wrong side of the bed. I guarantee this will turn your whole day around almost instantly.
